Rich, smooth, and wonderfully warming, our Single Origin India Coffee Beans are monsooned on the Malabar coast, where the beans absorb months of monsoon rain and wind for the region's signature heavy body. Traditionally cultivated under shade trees for a slower, more flavourful maturation.

Carefully roasted to highlight their natural depth, this coffee delivers bold notes of dark chocolate, spiced sweetness, and roasted nuts, with a smooth body and a gently earthy finish. Low in acidity and full of character, India coffee is ideal for those who enjoy a strong, satisfying cup with a comforting richness.

Perfect for espresso and milk-based coffees, this single origin is also an excellent choice for the French press, the stovetop moka pot, and cafetière brewing — producing a deep and flavourful cup that particularly shines with milk every time.

BEHIND THE ORIGIN

Aged by the Indian Monsoon

India has a long and distinctive coffee history, shaped as much by tradition as by terroir. Our lot is sourced from several highland estates in Karnataka, in the south of the country — a region where coffee has been cultivated under shade trees for generations.

What makes this coffee unique is the monsooning process. After harvest, the green beans are exposed to monsoon winds and rain, swelling as they absorb moisture and losing much of their acidity. The result is a heavy-bodied, low-acid cup of dark chocolate and roasted-nut richness, finished with a gentle, warming spice that lingers on the palate.

The character is full, mellow with a touch of intensity — equally at home as a comforting espresso or a deeply satisfying filter brew, with the depth to stand up to milk and the body to drink black without losing its shape.
