Discover the exceptional character of our Single Origin Ethiopia Coffee Beans, sourced from the birthplace of coffee itself. Grown at high altitudes around Shantawene, these beans are celebrated worldwide for their vibrant aroma, delicate sweetness, and beautifully complex flavour profile.

Carefully roasted to preserve their natural brilliance, this coffee delivers bright and elegant notes of floral jasmine, juicy berries, and citrus fruit, with a smooth, tea-like finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Perfect for those who enjoy a more refined and aromatic cup, Ethiopia coffee is an outstanding choice for a V-60 drip filter brew, a long French press, or a fruity pour-over — and just as expressive pulled as a single-origin espresso.

Best enjoyed black to appreciate the aromatics. A true classic for coffee lovers who appreciate flavour, depth, and origin-driven quality.

BEHIND THE ORIGIN

From the Hills of Shantawene

Sidamo is one of Ethiopia's most celebrated coffee regions, set in the southern highlands and long associated with some of the country's most distinctive cups. Within it, the Shantawene area sits among the highest coffee-growing terrain, where steep hillsides and a uniquely suited microclimate give the cherries their remarkable character.

Our lot is grown by many smallholder farmers across the Shantawene slopes. Slow ripening at altitude, combined with traditional processing, builds a cup of vivid clarity — floral jasmine, bright citrus and juicy blueberry, finished with a delicate, tea-like sweetness that lingers gently on the palate.

The result is a coffee that's endlessly expressive in a pour-over or filter brew, where its aromatic complexity can take centre stage — though it remains a quietly remarkable choice as a fragrant, fruit-forward espresso.
